Timbre Group returns to roots in music and events amid wider F&B slowdown
TIMBRE Group is returning to its roots with redoubled efforts in music and events management, as manpower woes in Singapore’s food and beverage (F&B) scene continue to bite.
Labour constraints are the main reason that the group is relinquishing control of the 800-seater Timbre+ Eastside venue at Singapore Expo, said founder and chief executive officer Danny Loong.
Eastside, which combines live music with 28 F&B outlets, was launched in November 2021 by Timbre. But after two years as managing operator, Timbre is handing over to a new operator from Nov 30.
