Ying the Label taking art beyond paper and clothes
Founder Phuay Li Ying says that the brand is about the art that she wants to tell, and the stories behind these art pieces.

This is the quote plastered on the walls of Ying the Label's atelier in King Albert Park, and also what founder Phuay Li Ying firmly believes her eponymous brand stands for.
Indeed, the young designer who has enjoyed painting since young shares that she didn't want to be an artist because she felt that it would be difficult to sell art. So instead, she explored ways to transform art into things that were wearable or usable. Starting first with accessories, she eventually ended up using fabric as a medium to showcase her artworks, and Ying the Label was born.
