[SINGAPORE] ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) and SuperX AI Technology on Wednesday (Apr 15) launched an AI Innovation Centre in Singapore.

The centre is hosted at the STT Singapore 5 facility in Tai Seng, and serves as a “dedicated environment” to help enterprises fast-track their artificial intelligence journey from experimentation to production-ready scale, said a statement.

It has already onboarded an initial cohort of users, with early adopters leveraging the centre’s high-performance compute for complex workloads, such as advanced modelling and large-scale data simulations.

Key features of the centre include direct access to the latest Nvidia Blackwell graphics processing unit (GPU) infrastructure. This features high-speed video random-access memory of 192 gigabytes per GPU.

A pilot access programme is also available to qualified customers, who can receive a 14-day free trial to validate performance, compatibility and cost-efficiency. All workloads are also run locally in Singapore within a “secure, resilient environment”, thereby meeting the data-residency requirements of regulated industries, added the statement.

“The foundation of any successful AI strategy is dependable, scalable infrastructure,” said Lim Mingcheng, country head of Singapore at STT GDC. “This centre is more than just a testing ground; it is a launch pad for enterprises to achieve measurable return on investment and long-term AI leadership.”
