Two-day conference to encourage SMEs to use AI and digital tools

AN UPCOMING two-day conference will discuss how small and medium businesses (SMBs) can benefit from adopting artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools, with talks and an exhibition by digital solutions providers.

To be held on May 16 and 17 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Support SMB 2023 event is organised by digital telco provider MyRepublic, software companies Whale Cloud and Alibaba Cloud, utility company Senoko Energy, insurance company Hong Leong Assurance, Wi-Fi network equipment provider TP-Link, marketing consultancy Hashtaqs and design company Ino Arts. The event will feature over 50 exhibitors showcasing digital tools for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), 20 breakout sessions and 10 masterclasses. Conference participants will be able to vote for the best digital solutions, with 12 awards to be given out. About 5,000 participants are expected to attend the event.

The conference will discuss “innovative strategies and tools to drive sustainable growth”; how to ensure cyber, financial and operational security; and harnessing AI and technology for innovation.

Apart from specific IT solutions, there will be talks on topics such as branding and talent management; recruitment forums, including by MyRepublic and Alibaba Cloud; and an e-sports tournament for organisations.

MyRepublic managing director Lawrence Chan said: “This event aims to provide SMBs with the essential tools, strategies and insights needed to thrive in a highly competitive, digital-first environment.”
