THE 19th annual EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) awards is open for nominations in Singapore. Members of the public have until April 30 to submit the names of outstanding entrepreneurs whom they think deserve to be in the running.
Explaining this year's theme, "The Unstoppables", Max Loh, managing partner for Singapore and Brunei, Ernst & Young LLP, says: "It takes a special kind of leader to ignore the critics and transform a blue-sky dream into a reality that contributes value and purpose beyond simple profits - we call these entrepreneurs 'The Unstoppables' - those whose boundless ambitions deliver innovation, growth, employment and prosperity that transform our world."
An independent judging panel will assess the nominees across six globally benchmarked criteria - the individual's entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity and leadership, as well as his or her company's strategic direction, national and global impact, financial track record, and innovation efforts.
