Management Development Institute of Singapore scales new heights with its 'edupreneurial' stance in private education.
AS more private education institutions exit the industry over the years, the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) has managed to buck this trend. The oldest not-for-profit private education institute in Singapore achieved this feat independently, without relying on government funds. Today, MDIS has campuses in Singapore and Uzbekistan, and will move from its temporary campus in Malaysia to a full campus at EduCity@Iskandar, Johor in 2017.
It is thus unsurprising that MDIS bagged the Enterprise 50 award in 2015, joining the ranks of local private companies that have been recognised for their contribution to the economic development of Singapore and other countries.
