The automation of a key Coca-Cola production step

SCHEDULING the production of liquid concentrates at the Coca-Cola Singapore plant used to take one to two days - or longer if there were changes in orders or unexpected downtime in operations. But all that is in the past now because Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star) scientists and experts from homegrown enterprise software company PD Solutions have set Coca-Cola on the digitalisation path with an automated production scheduling solution using an off-the-shelf software application.
