LOCOFY.AI, a front-end development acceleration platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to convert designs to code, has raised US$4.3 million in its Seed II funding round, said the company on Tuesday (May 16).
Companies that participated in this round include Northstar Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, Accel and individual investors from Dropbox and Tinder, among others.
Founded in 2021, the startup is a low-code development tool in public beta which helps developers build and manage their front-end functions.
It converts Figma and Adobe XD designs into React, React Native, HTML-CSS, Gatsby and Next.js code with AI.
The company intends to use the funds to simplify the design to code conversion significantly with AI, while adding more integrations to the platform to seamlessly fit in the workflows.
“We are building our platform to enable lean teams and individuals to turn ideas into high-quality products and experiences at a fraction of the time it used to take,” said Honey Mittal, co-founder and chief executive at Locofy.ai.
“This is about AI dramatically reducing time-to-market and creating new rules around speed, agility, innovation and collaboration, all at lower costs.”
The company has raised a total of US$7.3 million since its incorporation in 2021.
