Australia-based fintech company Finder buys GoBear's brand
AUSTRALIA-BASED fintech company Finder has bought GoBear's brand, including its trademark and digital assets, said the companies in a statement on Thursday.
Digital assets bought include domains, website content and GoBear's social media channels in seven markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
The GoBear brand will continue to operate via its social media and email channels, while the website content will form part of finder.com and its services as of this announcement.
This development comes after the financial services firm GoBear announced in January 2021 that it will close its business due to its inability to "raise more funds to continue operations" amid the global pandemic.
Finder has seven offices around the world, including in Australia, the US and the Philippines.
