SINGAPORE-BASED venture capital firm BlueRed Partners has led a US$10 million Series A fundraising round for Israeli tech startup InZiv, it announced on Tuesday (Apr 26).

The round was joined by investment platform OurCrowd and other undisclosed family offices, existing and new investors.

InZiv, which focuses on the inspection and repair of light-emitting diode (LED) displays such as microLED, QLED and OLED, will use the fresh funding to accelerate the production development of automated lighting and visual solutions.

The funds will be used to make new company appointments and expand its presence, with a focus on US and Asia.

Two new additions were made to the board of InZiv: Yishai Klein, BlueRed Partners co-founder and managing partner, and Itzchak Edrei, president emeritus of Israeli semiconductor manufacturer Tower Semiconductors.

“We are especially excited to help InZiv in this next chapter of growth as the company expands into the Asian market, which is such a critical part of the display industry,” said Klein.

InZiv chief executive and founder David Lewis said: “With the support of our valued investors, InZiv is ready to take the next steps in developing the high-resolution tools that are needed to continue to enhance advanced display technologies and make them accessible and affordable to the average consumer.”
