CLIMATE technology startup Handprint has raised US$2.2 million in seed funding led by global payments platform Thunes, it announced on Monday (Mar 21).

Launched in Singapore in 2020, Handprint is a software-as-a-service platform that aims to help businesses make a positive impact.

The plugin connects businesses with projects that resonate with their brand, allowing them to choose from a range of projects such as coral reef construction, plastic removal, disaster relief, and more.

The platform enables companies to integrate the projects into their business functions and track the impact made over time as well.

Fresh funds will be used to further expand Handprint's technology and grow its network of impact partners.

With Thunes' global payment network, Handprint also plans to reach unbanked and hard-to-reach communities across the world.
