FOOD and beverage (F&B) technology platform Oddle on Wednesday (May 18) raised US$5 million in a pre-Series B bridge round led by technology venture capital firm Altara Ventures.
The fresh funds will be used for product development and market expansion in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. This includes bringing its full suite of solutions to these places, the startup said.
Founded in 2014 as an F&B e-commerce platform, Oddle’s solutions have since expanded to include reservation systems, QR ordering systems and payment terminal solutions.
The startup also noted that its consumer food app Oddle Eats, which recently launched in Singapore, will be rolled out in other markets in the third quarter of 2022.
Oddle’s founder and chief executive officer Jonathan Lim said: “As the economy starts to open up, providing merchants with cutting-edge solutions and expertise to drive their profitability and future-proof their restaurants will be our main priority for the next few years to come.”
