Logistics startup Inteluck raises US$34 million in Series C funding
SUPPLY chain solutions provider Inteluck has secured US$34 million in Series C funding, led by Philippines-focused private equity firm Navegar.
The round was joined by existing investor East Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Indonesia.
Inteluck on Tuesday (Oct 24) said it will use its new capital to expand its regional footprint, deepen its presence and strengthen its capabilities.
Inteluck was founded in the Philippines in 2014 by Kevin Zhang, who helms the startup as its chief executive. The Singapore-headquartered company also has a presence in Thailand and Vietnam.
Its digital business-to-business platform provides technology-driven supply chain services to enterprises, ranging from full truckload transportation and warehouse management to international freight forwarding and distribution.
It also enables enterprises to expand their geographical coverage throughout the supply chain, maintain real-time oversight of shipments and scale operations flexibly during high-demand periods.
Inteluck said it has provided supply chain services to over 300 international and local enterprises across industries including telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing and e-commerce.
Through the platform, over 14,000 delivery trucks are available for enterprises to book on demand. The company said integrating small to mid-sized truckers into its platform not only boosts demand for first to mid-mile trips, but also improves fleet utilisation and facilitates faster payments.
Zhang said: “By providing enterprises with access to more trucks on a single platform, along with advantages like faster dispatching, improved delivery times and competitive pricing, we empower them to streamline operations and achieve significant cost savings.
“Simultaneously, our trucker network experiences increased utilisation and profitability, creating a mutually beneficial ecosystem for all stakeholders.”
