More competition in the venture debt space as banks enter the arena
VENTURE debt in South-east Asia got a boost recently with a tie-up between early stage incubator and investor Antler and HSBC.
The tie-up brings access to HSBC’s venture debt offering, among other banking services, to Antler’s portfolio companies.
“This collaboration is a natural extension of our long-standing heritage of supporting entrepreneurs and scaling businesses,” said Amanda Murphy, head of commercial banking, South and South-east Asia, HSBC.
