GLINTS, a Singapore-based talent recruitment startup, has raised US$50 million in a Series D round co-led by DCM Ventures, Lavender Hill Capital and its existing investor Persol Holdings.

The round was joined by Endeavor Catalyst, which is chaired by LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, as well as Glints’ other existing investors Monk’s Hill Ventures, Fresco Capital and Binny Bansal, the co-founder of India’s Flipkart.

This brings Glints’ total capital raised to date to over US$80 million. The startup had last year secured US$22.5 million in a Series C round led by Persol, a Tokyo-listed human resources group.

With its latest raise, Glints will expand its talent supply base in the Philippines, as well as its global base of employers. It will also grow its product, engineering and data teams. The startup has served over 50,000 global and regional startups and enterprise clients including AIA, Ikea and Gameloft.

“We are excited to partner with Glints on their journey and have been impressed by their ability to adapt to market changes and deliver impressive growth while maintaining financial health during the global pandemic over the past 3 years,” said Zhang Xiaoyin, founder of Lavender Hill Capital.

Ramon Zeng, general partner of DCM, added that the South-east Asia tech talent market is “maturing rapidly and is poised to be a strong contender for both tech innovation and strong talent”.
