Singapore startups offer sweeter base pay for non-managerial staff than larger firms: Aon

NON-MANAGERIAL staff in Singapore startups enjoy base salaries that are on average 6 per cent higher than those at larger companies with employees here, according to a survey by professional services company Aon released on Tuesday.

However, at the managerial level, the playing field levels out, as Singapore startups on average pay 5 per cent less than larger companies, including those in the tech industry, the survey found.
