CORPORATE services startup Sleek has secured US$14 million in Series A funding with Jungle Ventures and White Star Capital leading the round.

The startup helps companies with their back room functions such as company secretary, bookkeeping, payroll, tax advisory and employment visa services. Sleek says over 5,000 companies have utilised its services since its inception in 2017.

The fresh funds will be used to enhance Sleek's product, increase hiring and for expansion initiatives. Recently the startup launched its business account product to aid companies in opening a business bank account in Singapore.

Sleek will be entering the UK market via the acquisition of LTD Companies, a UK market incorporation company for an undisclosed amount. The startup will deploy its platform for LTD Companies' customers in the UK. Sleek has also entered the Australian market by opening a new office in Sydney, New South Wales in September 2020.

"Their growth across geographies, and rapid expansion, is testament to the accelerated adoption of the platform and the value it brings to the ecosystem. It's a fantastic business with a tremendous growth potential," said David Gowdey, managing partner, Jungle Ventures.

The startup will be looking to expand its team across its markets of Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia and the UK as well.

"We aim to improve our product further in order to become the go-to digital platform for all entrepreneurs, everywhere," said Julien Labruyere, co-founder and chief executive officer of Sleek.
