Accelerator that looks out for edutech startups launched
Singapore
SINGAPORE startups in education technology (edtech) now have an accelerator to offer them advice and resources to help them on their way.
The Lithan EdTech Accelerator launched on Thursday, believed to be the first edtech-focused platform here, hopes to turn traditional educators into agile "edu-preneurs" who can take on roles beyond teaching; by developing technology-driven products and tools to enhance learning and pedagogy, these startups can, for instance, undertake content development, training, mentorship and consulting, said its founder Leslie Loh.
