Apple tightens Hong Kong returns policy ahead of new iPhone launch

    APPLE Inc is making it harder for touts to profit from buying iPhones in Hong Kong only to sell them on the black market in China.

    From Aug 15, all products bought online from Apple in Hong Kong became ineligible for return or exchange unless they are defective, the company said on its website.

    The response follows a Straits Times report citing a recent Greenpeace investigation, which named First Resources among entities with concession areas registering haze source points.
