Certis is maestro of Jewel's security using 'Mozart' platform

SECURITY services provider Certis operates the Smart Operations Centre at Jewel Changi Airport, a high-tech facility that analyses data from over 5,000 sensors, 200 mobile devices and 700 CCTVs scattered over the sprawling newly opened retail and lifestyle complex.
Certis uses its new platform called "Mozart" to orchestrate the operations around the clock, which the company says helps to ensure safety and peace of mind for the thousands of people who pass through Jewel each day.
This is all part of Certis' "Security+" approach, which also aims to provide visitors with the "best customer experiences in a conducive environment", said Jewel's head of user experience Jeremy Yeo.
Benny Lim, the senior vice-president and head of Certis Aviation Security, said: "Through Security+, we enable our customers to focus on their core business while we partner them to orchestrate their operations through an integrated technology platform.
"Security+ is an enabler that helps Jewel to realise synergies and provide new and enhanced user experiences to their customers."
At Jewel, Certis has also deployed the Patrol and Traffic Enforcement Robot (Peter), a fully autonomous "robot enforcement officer" that ensures smooth traffic flow with minimal human intervention.
Peter can be spotted at the kerbside entry at the second level of Jewel.
It can navigate on its own, avoid obstacles in its way, and execute its own service cycle from "launching" itself for operational work to "docking" at the charging station after completing eight straight hours of duty.
