Channel biomedical funding to tackle Asian diseases: industry paper

AFTER 15 years of development, Singapore's strengths in biomedical research have yet to translate into substantial commercial success, said an industry white paper released last Friday.

To speed up the commercialisation process, the industry needs to foster more private-public collaboration, attract capital focused on biotech and provide sector-specific incubators and accelerators, said the paper.
