LONG-OVERDUE technology upgrades are being implemented in the realm of cleaning and facilities management, as companies realise that conventional surface cleaning methods and occasional disinfection sessions are ineffectual against potential airborne spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Solutions such as cleaning robots, automated disinfection dischargers and air cleaning systems are enabling these companies to raise their sanitation standards to levels that cannot be achieved by simply hiring more janitorial staff or using stronger chemicals.
