Conversation on hiring of women should not happen only in March

PREET Grewal, head of inclusion and diversity for JAPAC at Twitter, was always plugged into issues of diversity. Her family's move to Canada from India when she was 15 made her acutely aware of her minority status in Canada. Interacting with other minorities shaped her views on diversity, eventually pushing her to pursue a career that encourages corporates and individuals to embrace people from different backgrounds.
"Because I was curious about the experiences that people around me had, I found myself drawn to the work of inclusion and diversity," Ms Grewal shares. Her bachelor degree in humanities only amplified her interest in inequality and inclusivity issues. She is responsible for managing Twitter's diversity strategy and fronting its inclusion programmes.
