THE government's recent calls for more companies to use robotics to boost productivity, and to nurture infocomm talent, may be gaining traction. Food and beverage (F&B) technology startup TabSquare and programming institute Make School have raised millions in local venture capital to develop their offerings and reach out to more companies here.
TabSquare said that it has bagged S$3.5 million in Series A funding led by Walden International and joined by Infocomm Investments Pte Ltd, Phillip Private Equity and Thai Express founder Ivan Lee. The money will be used to deepen its presence in South-east Asia, New Zealand and Australia, and enhance its integrated restaurant management platform.
