German software firm FNT opens regional HQ in S'pore
FNT Solutions, a unit of FNT GmbH, a large German independent software company, has opened a regional headquarters in Singapore with this serving as its springboard to the Asia Pacific.
Nikolaus Albrecht, managing director of FNT-GmbH, told BizIT that the Singapore office will embark on a two-pronged strategy: firstly to support global clients operating in the region and secondly, work with appointed partners to identify and service new regional customers. including in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Upon reaching critical mass, in-country offices will possibly be rolled out in the South-east Asian markets. As part of a longer term strategy, there are plans to support customers in other Asian markets like Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka and China, he said.
