Google hires former Samsung exec to coordinate IoT projects

ALPHABET Inc's Google this month hired Injong Rhee, who recently resigned as Samsung Electronics Co's chief technology officer, to lead its Internet of Things (IoT) business, Mr Rhee said in a LinkedIn post on Monday.
Google spokeswoman Jane Hynes confirmed Mr Rhee's hiring by Google's cloud computing unit, but declined to comment further.
