IBM pushes hybrid cloud and Big Data

DURING its high-profile InterConnect 2013 event last week, IBM made a strong pitch for a hybrid cloud model, saying that businesses are looking closely at public clouds and some are concerned about not having control over resources which reside outside of their control.

At the same time, businesses are looking for faster ways to get on the cloud and take advantage of the hybrid environments that maximise Big Data insights and provide innovative ways to share resources.
