Instagram aims to beat Twitter with its updated live photo feed

Stream of photos and videos will give a much better feel of live events than Twitter's text updates, says CEO

    KEVIN SYSTROM says he has no interest in leaving Instagram to run Twitter, despite the hopes of some on Wall Street that he would consider the job. He would rather focus on beating Twitter.

    On Tuesday, Instagram began tapping into the 70 million photos and videos posted daily to its service to put its 300 million users in the middle of current events, from Taylor Swift's latest concert to the memorials to the victims of the Emanuel AME Church shooting.
