AT least one Singapore company was hit in late Tuesday's global ransomware attack, although no incident of an attack was reported to the authorities here.

In a statement late on Wednesday afternoon, WPP a London-listed advertising and public relations company (which owns agencies here such as Ogilvy & Mather and Young & Rubicam) said "a number of WPP companies - though not all - were affected by the ransomware attack".
