NTU to develop drone traffic management
Move driven by expected rise in drone service demand and drop in drone costs

RESEARCHERS at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) have embarked on a four-year programme to develop a traffic management system for drones to ensure the safe usage of Singapore's airspace.
The programme, which began in August, will focus on areas such as smart and safe routing, detect-and-avoid systems, and traffic management to coordinate air traffic.
