RAKUTEN Ventures - the venture capital arm of Japan's Internet group Rakuten, that is run out of Singapore - has doubled its Global Investment Fund to US$200 million.
This follows a "successful track record" of early-stage investments in technology startups and the launch of its US$84 million Japan Fund in January, Rakuten Ventures announced on Tuesday.
