JAPANESE game developer Sega is making its first foray into the South-east Asian games publishing industry by investing several millions of dollars into Singaporean startup goGame.
While the sum of the investment from Sega Networks - Sega's mobile games division - is undisclosed, the investment signifies the gaming giant's resolve in securing a presence in the growing mobile phone gaming industry in this region, and also its confidence in goGame's new self-publishing business model.
