A SINGAPORE startup seeking to repurpose workplace insurance in Asia has raised US$8 million in Series A funding. ConneXionsAsia (CXA) said on Tuesday that this funding was led by NSI Ventures (the venture capital arm of Singapore-based private equity firm Northstar Group), with participation from investment firms BioVeda and F&H Fund Management.

Founded in 2013, CXA offers companies a platform to efficiently manage existing corporate healthcare spend by lowering insurance coverage and spending more on wellness services that are personalised and relevant to their employees.
