Twitter adds more features to platform for advertisers

Its upgraded Twitter Publisher Network gives advertisers a link from Twitter to their own mobile apps, so they can connect with their audiences through the apps they use

    TO monetise its platform more efficiently, social media site Twitter on Thursday announced an upgrade to its Twitter Publisher Network (TPN), which helps advertisers use the platform to connect with their audiences.

    TPN was set up last year to help advertisers to connect with their audiences beyond the Twitter platform; it enables advertisers to link their Twitter presence to the thousands of mobile apps set up and run by or which are in partnerships with these advertisers, while using Twitter's measurement, targeting and creative tools.
