Xbox launches new hardware; PlayStation focuses on games

VIDEO game giant Microsoft is making a focused effort to combat main competitor Sony, by launching not just one, but two new video game consoles to the market by the end of next year.
Announced at the annual E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) in Los Angeles, the American company said on Monday morning that it will release a slimmer version of its current Xbox One console that has a larger internal memory, uses an upgraded controller and will be capable of streaming ultra high definition 4K video content.
