SINGAPORE-BASED telehealth platform ORA has raised US$10 million in its Series A funding round, co-led by venture capital firms TNB Aura and Antler. This brings its total funding to date to over US$17 million.
Gobi Partners, Kairous Capital and GMA Ventures also participated in the latest funding round, the startup announced on Wednesday (May 17).
ORA will use the funds to expand into new regions – such as the gulf countries – and develop new products. Its brands will be made available in 1,300 retail stores later this year.
Charles Wong, founding partner at TNB Aura, said: “(ORA’s) combined focus on specialised, and often taboo, health-care verticals as well as a direct-to-patient approach has led the team to clearly differentiate itself, while delivering market-leading unit economics that meet the tailored needs of patients across the full value chain.”
Since its launch in 2021, ORA has delivered over 250,000 consultations in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. The vertically integrated telehealth platform currently houses three brands: Modules, which offers prescription skincare; men’s health-care provider andSons; and women’s reproductive health-care provider OVA.
