Temasek Trust Capital joins Series A round of impact verification provider BlueMark
NEW York-based impact verification and intelligence provider BlueMark has bagged US$10 million in a Series A funding, with Temasek Trust Capital joining as a new investor.
S&P Global led the funding round, alongside six other investors. Three new family offices with significant experience in impact investing – Blue Haven Initiative, Gunung Capital and the Tsao Family Office – also joined as new investors.
The funding will be used to accelerate the adoption of BlueMark’s impact verification services, benchmarks and analytics to institutional investors, the company said on Wednesday (Apr 19).
Temasek Trust Capital said that there are substantial growth opportunities in impact investing, both in Asia and globally.
Dawn Chan, managing director of investments at Temasek Trust Capital, said: “BlueMark is a leader in this space, and we look forward to working with its team to expand their verification and market intelligence services to new geographies and sectors.”
Founded in 2020, BlueMark has since completed 125 verifications for investors with a combined US$206 billion in assets under management. The company also plans to expand its presence across industries and geographies, with a particular focus on Asia, where three of its investors are based.
