China: Shanghai stocks open up more than 1%

[SHANGHAI] China's benchmark Shanghai stock index opened up more than one per cent on Monday ahead of the release of June trade data and lifted by government moves last week to staunch a market crash, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.06 per cent, or 41.19 points, to 3,918.99.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, jumped 2.54 per cent, or 51.76 points, to 2,087.02.
