China: Shares higher in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were higher in morning trade Tuesday, as financial and railway firms rebounded from losses the previous day, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.04 per cent, or 32.45 points, to 3,160.75.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.73 per cent, or 10.91 points, to 1,513.80.
