China: Shares lower in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were lower in morning trade Friday despite an earlier announcement of monetary easing through a cut in bank reserve requirements, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.51 per cent, or 16.12 points, to 3,120.41.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.10 per cent, or 1.53 points, to 1,524.58.
