China: Shares mixed in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were mixed on Thursday morning as trading remained sluggish following a week-long holiday, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.21 per cent, or 6.69 points, to 3,222.15.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged up 0.13 per cent, or 2.02 points, to 1,600.32.
