Europe: Stock markets ahead at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock rose at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.4 per cent at 6,982.20 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.6 per cent to 10,724.14 points and the Paris CAC 40 index added 0.5 per cent to 4,532.34 compared with Monday's close.
