Europe: Stock markets climb at open

[LONDON] European stock markets climbed at the open on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.2 per cent to 7,718.90 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.9 per cent to 12,839.44 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.6 per cent to 5,497.74 compared with Friday's closing levels.
