Europe: Stock markets climb at open

[LONDON] European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbing 0.3 per cent to 7,631.64 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.3 per cent to 12,400.27 points compared with Tuesday's close, while the Paris CAC 40 won 0.2 per cent to 5,414.75.
