Europe: Stock markets climb at open

[LONDON] European stock markets climbed in opening deals on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gaining almost 0.2 per cent to 6,442.80 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index also rose 0.2 per cent to 13,312.07 points and the Paris CAC 40 added 0.3 per cent to 5,574.26.
