Europe: Stock markets climb at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose solidly at the open Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.4 pe rcent to 7,326.70 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.6 per cent to 11,831.71 points and the Paris CAC 40 grew by 0.5 per cent to 4,894.25 compared with Friday's close.
