Europe: Stock markets rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.9 per cent to 6,789.33 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.8 per cent to 10,750.62 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.9 per cent to 4,528.05 compared with the close on Friday.
