[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the open on Friday after a week of choppy trade.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of major blue-chip companies barely budged, standing at 7,341.03 points in initial deals.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 and the Paris CAC 40 each added about 0.1 per cent in value, to stand at 12,728.84 and 5,386.79 points respectively.
