Europe: Stock markets stable at open

[LONDON] Europe's leading stock markets were steady at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index losing a couple of points to 7,766.83.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.2 per cent to 13,228.60 points and the Paris CAC 40 rose around 0.1 per cent to 5,513.70 compared with Monday's closing values.
