Europe: Stock markets stable at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index flat at 7,202.36 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 dipped 0.1 per cent to 5,249.88 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 lost 0.2 per cent to 12,331.64 compared with the close Thursday.
